What we take off your team’s plate

  • Book launch and pre-order landing pages
  • Author pages across your whole roster
  • Catalog, imprint, and backlist pages
  • Technical SEO and book structured data
  • Email campaigns, ad setup, and social graphics
  • Ongoing WordPress development

Your Team Plans the Launch. Someone Still Has to Build It.

Christian publishing marketing teams are good at the part that matters most: knowing the readers, the authors, and the message. What they rarely have is spare development capacity. That gap is where launches slip, landing pages go out half finished, and backlist titles sit on pages nobody can find.

Every release needs pages, and the dev queue is already full.

A single title can need a book page, a pre-order landing page, an updated author page, retailer links for every format, and campaign pages for ads and email. Multiply that across a release season and the work lands on a web team that is already maintaining the store, the platform, and everything else.

Another full-time developer is a fixed cost for uneven work.

Release calendars bunch up around seasonal lists and gift seasons, then the queue goes quiet. A staff hire is either buried or idle. A fulfillment partner gives you an agency’s worth of design, development, SEO, and marketing expertise for less per year than one in-house hire, and it scales with the list instead of the payroll.

Most agencies understand neither books nor the mission behind them.

Generic shops treat a title like a product SKU. They do not know what an imprint is, why the hardcover and the ebook should resolve to one book in search, or how an endorsement page differs from a sales page. And few of them stop to ask whether they are comfortable promoting the content at all.

Already Inside Christian Publishing

Not a new market for us. A current partnership.

We currently partner with Charisma Media, the company behind Charisma magazine and the Charisma House book group, just up the road from our Orlando office in Lake Mary. We handle web, SEO, and marketing fulfillment across a wide range of their authors and titles.

When we stepped in, work was running behind schedule. Within our first week we had worked through much of the backlog and were delivering pages built to their in-house designer’s specs, on deadline. That is the job of a fulfillment partner: your team decides what readers see, and we make sure it ships.

On the search side, our clearest faith-content result is Living Revelations, an online Bible study ministry for Millennials and Gen Z, whose organic search traffic grew 823% in twelve months after we took on their website and SEO. They are a ministry rather than a publisher, so read it as evidence of how we handle faith content in search, not as a publishing case study.

What We Build and Maintain for Publishers

Each of these can be a single project or a standing part of a monthly partnership, shaped around what your team already has covered. Beyond the website, we also run the launch marketing around it: email campaigns, ad setup, and social graphics.

Book Launch Landing Pages

Pre-order pages, bonus offers, retailer buttons for every format, a reader magnet that turns visitors into an email list, and ad-ready variants for paid campaigns. Built to your designer’s specs and live before the campaign starts, not the week after.

Author Pages at Roster Scale

Bios, headshots, every title by that author, speaking and event details, and media kits on one consistent template, so adding the next author or updating the fortieth is routine work instead of a redesign.

Catalog & Imprint Websites

Frontlist and backlist title pages, series, editions and formats, imprint structure, and category browsing that reflects how your readers actually shop: by topic, by author, and by the need that brought them to the shelf.

Technical SEO & Book Schema

Book and author structured data, ISBNs tied to the right editions, one strong page per work instead of four competing format pages, clean sitemaps, and page speed that holds up across a catalog of hundreds of titles.

Search & AI Discoverability

Topic pages that connect readers searching for help with grief, marriage, prayer, or a book of the Bible to the titles you already publish, written with the clear, well-structured answers AI search tools can cite accurately.

Ongoing Development Support

A standing queue for fixes, plugin and theme updates, new templates, retailer link changes, and the campaign page that shows up with two days of notice. One team that already knows your site, instead of a new freelancer every quarter.

How a Publishing Partnership Works

Every publishing house works differently, so we do not arrive with a fixed process. We sit alongside your marketing team, not in place of it, and your people keep the strategy, the author relationships, and the final say.

01

Start with a conversation

We learn how your team works today, what is working, what could be improved, and where we would fit. We also look at your mission and catalog, so both sides know the partnership is right.

02

Fit your requirements

Every house has its own standards, tools, and approval chain. We adapt to yours: brand guidelines, designer files, templates, how requests come in, and who signs off.

03

Deliver to your designer’s specs

Pages are built to your designer’s files and your SEO standards, reviewed by your team, and shipped on the dates your launch calendar sets.

04

Meet, report, and improve

A weekly standup, or whatever rhythm your launches need, covering what shipped, what is performing, and what comes next. Rush requests are handled as rush projects under the SLA we agree with you.

We Take the Content as Seriously as the Code

We are Christians, and this practice exists because we want to serve the publishers putting faith-based books in readers’ hands. We already build websites and marketing for authors, so supporting the houses behind them is a natural fit.

We understand the responsibility behind promoting faith-based content, and we aim to partner with organizations whose missions and values align with ours. That does not mean every partner has to share our view on every secondary question. It means we want to believe in what we are helping you put in front of readers.

One Partner for Web, Search, and Launches

Our website development team builds the catalog, author, and launch pages, our WordPress development practice handles the platform many publisher sites run on, our SEO services make titles and authors findable, and our AI search optimization covers the answers readers increasingly get before they ever click. Ministries and churches are better served by our Christian SEO work, and if you are an individual author rather than a publisher, start with websites for Christian authors. If you want to see how an engagement actually runs, our process is written out step by step, and the rest of our client work is published in full.

Publishing Partnerships, Answered

Do you only work with Christian publishers?

No. Arising Co works across a range of industries, from home services to luxury residential. This practice is built specifically for Christian publishing because it brings together two things we care about: technically demanding web and SEO work, and content we believe in. If you are a publisher, this is the team and the process you would be working with.

Can you work inside our existing website and CMS?

In most cases, yes. WordPress is where we do the majority of our development work and it is common among publishers, but we review your platform, theme, plugins, and any catalog or ecommerce integrations before we scope anything. If something falls outside what we do well, we will tell you before you sign, not after.

How do you handle embargoed titles and unreleased covers?

Pre-release pages are built on staging or behind password protection and go live on your schedule, not ours. Covers, endorsements, and launch details stay inside the project until your team approves publication. If your house requires an NDA before sharing the list, we are glad to sign one.

Do you work with author publicity and marketing agencies?

Yes. We already work as a subcontracted development partner for another agency, so we are comfortable working inside your client relationships, to your standards, and on your timelines. You keep the strategy and the client; we handle the build behind it.

Why not just hire a freelancer?

A freelancer can be a good fit for a single project. The problem for publishers is continuity: release calendars run year-round, and every new contractor has to relearn your site, your templates, and your approval chain. A partner keeps that knowledge from one launch to the next and brings development, SEO, and launch experience under one roof.

What does a publishing partnership cost?

Every partnership is scoped individually, because a publisher releasing four titles a year and a group releasing sixty need very different things. What stays consistent is the math: you get an agency’s worth of design, development, SEO, and marketing expertise for less per year than one in-house hire. It starts with a conversation about what you need, not a proposal.
