Case Study - An Event Experience Built with GSAP & ScrollTrigger

Gabrielle Santiago approached us to build a landing pagefor their 8th annual conference: Created With Purpose. For an event of this caliber, a standard static page wouldn't suffice. They needed a landing page that felt alive, intentional, and inspiring.

Our goal was to create a seamless, high-performance experience that guided potential attendees through the event details while building excitement through cutting-edge front-end interactions.

Artistry in Motion

To match the conference’s theme of purpose and creation, we focused on advanced motion design using the GreenSock Animation Platform (GSAP). This wasn't just about adding movement, but about creating an "active" reading experience:

• Dynamic Typography: We implemented GSAP SplitText to break apart paragraph text, allowing characters and lines to flow together only as the user scrolls them into view.
• Scroll-Triggered Reveals: Utilizing ScrollTrigger, we engineered headings that "fill" with color based on the user's scroll progress, creating a literal sense of fulfillment as they consume the content.
• Cinematic Flow: The layout was designed to maintain a rhythmic pace, ensuring that speakers, schedules, and calls-to-action were revealed with a smooth, premium feel.
